160Ah Sodium ion battery cell for golf cart, forklift

Sodium-ion batteries use less expensive raw materials. Sodium itself is extremely abundant and cheap. But these batteries have lagged behind lithium-ion batteries because they have relatively low energy density — the amount of electrical energy that can be stored per unit of weight. Now our research has paid off with a new sodium-ion battery with an energy density of 180 Wh/kg.
